Lewisville ISD is proud to continue innovative learning opportunities through the LISD STEM Academy, a hands-on, collaborative learning environment dedicated to teaching students Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) skills available for grades K-8. The LISD STEM Academy is available for the 2025-26 school year in grades 6-8 at our middle school campuses (Creek Valley, Downing, Forestwood, Griffin, and Hedrick), space permitting. Parents are highly encouraged to attend a middle school STEM Academy parent information session on Jan. 27, 28, 29 or 30. Register to attend a meeting HERE. Middle school STEM academies do not require a STEM application. Students currently zoned to attend a middle school STEM academy campus will automatically gain enrollment into the LISD STEM Academy. Additional seats, based on campus capacity, will be made available to transfer students. Request a transfer at LISD.net/transfer during the spring general transfer window Feb. 4-21, 2025.
